Our Team
Clare and Lilly
Firstly, welcome to our site! We hope that you will find everything you need here but if you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to contact us – it is just the 2 of us, so you will only hear directly from one of us.
As practitioners we put our clients and patients at the centre of our work following the Person-Centred approach and it’s core conditions of offering ‘Empathy, Congruence and Unconditional Positive Regard (UPR)’. This approach is integrated with Freud’s Psychodynamic theory, and elements of others such as CBT, allowing a collaborative and flexible way of working tailored to the needs of the client rather than the ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Alongside running our own private practices, being supervisors for other therapists and teaching this profession, we also provide local services, schools and businesses with tailor made workshops and presentations on a range of mental health and wellbeing topics. We are lucky to be in a profession that we feel passionate about and our aim is to promote a better understanding of mental health and to encourage positive wellbeing.
We are PASSIONATE about everything to do with this profession. We are fortunate enough to be involved in many different settings and roles – you can read more about these in the ‘more about me’ sections.
